Pitang participates in SpinRecife2009 - Agile Project Management

Software Process Improvement Network - Spin - is an organization of software professionals in a given geographical area whose interest lies in improving software processes.
In Recife, the Spin group holds an annual event open to participation to all technology professionals and all those interested in the topics to be discussed.
This year, Pitang is one of the sponsors of SpinRecife2009, which has Agility in Practice as its theme and will take place next Monday (30th), in the Porto Digital auditorium (located in the Banco Real building), in Recife Antigo.
In keeping with Pitang's new positioning, Agile Project Management is considered to be a strategic area. For this reason Pitang actively participates in this event not only by being a sponsor, but also by sending 30 professionals and one speaker to the event.

About the event - This year, SpinRecife brings to the developer community representatives from organizations with practical experience in the use of agile methodologies, where lessons learned that are relevant to those who use the methodologies or those interested in the subject will be highlighted.
In 2008, SpinRecife covered the topic "Scrum in CMMI Environments", and approximately 200 professionals and students took part. The program included presentations by Boris Gloger, Globo.com and Power Logic, as well as presentations from local institutions such as C.E.S.A.R, A.T.I and UFPE.
